Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf is a Public Speaker, Trainer, and CEO of Lace'm Up Basketball Training Camp. He is also a former All-American NBA professional basketball player. Mahmoud credits his faith, discipline, intense training, healthy lifestyle, and his unique insight and knowledge of the game of basketball for his longevity and success as well as the supportive people around him. Mahmoud uses his childhood upbringing, battle with Tourette's, conversion to Islam, his lifelong relationship with basketball at all levels to encourage, inspire and train youth and adults while sharing knowledge with the community. Mahmoud connects and demonstrates how the principles of sports, faith, and life go hand-in-hand. Mahmoud's experiences and life stories offer motivation to communities and promote healthy living; answering questions and appealing to the needs of the community for solutions and inspiration.
