Last year more than half a million Michigan residents turned to 2-1-1 for health and human service information and referrals and the numbers continue to grow.
If you need help for yourself, a neighbor or a loved one, call 2-1-1 or search the 2-1-1 website to find out where to get help. 2-1-1 has information on more than 30,000 different programs and services across the state.

Simply call 2-1-1 (it’s free) and you will automatically reach a contact specialist day or night, 24/7. These professional specialists are well trained, certified and focused on serving you in a confidential and compassionate manner.
The first thing the contact specialist will do is assess your situation, help you locate services when and where available, and provider answers to your questions. Their knowledge comes from a wealth of information at their fingertips.
Each contact center is connected to powerful data bases that provide access to 7,500 agencies offering 29,500 programs and services in 180 languages. There are links to local, state and federal databases, too.
