Become a Foster Parent
About 14,000 children in Michigan are in foster care. In a state such as Michigan that has such a large Muslim population, it is unfortunate that there are very few Muslims involved in the foster care system. Oftentimes, Muslim children cannot be placed in Muslim foster homes because there are little to no licensed Muslim foster parents in their city/county.
